Lee Berger lecture in NYC Oct 10, 2016
Archaeology, Evolution and Mass Extinctions have always been a big interest for me, and to see such a major
discovery happening in my lifetime is jaw dropping.
So after viewing Dawn of Humanity
of this NOVA/National Geographic Special I was glued.
One of the touching highlights were the applicants to his posting on
Facebook in October of 2013 and the amazing teamwork and dedication of the
6 ladies who replied
and entered the cave for the chance of a lifetime !!
I then followed the updates from Lee Berger on Facebook and in the news of his work in the Cradle of Human Kind.
and when I saw he would be in NYC I signed up and was ecstatic!

I still remember years ago in 2008 about Lee's son Matthew's discovery
Lee Berger is our real life Indiana Jones! Paleoanthropologist and National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence so meeting him and hearing him lecture was a real thrill.
I can't wait for his book ALMOST HUMAN to come out in March 2017 and hopefully meet Lee again!!!
