I'll be giving you some tips and resources to finding these celebrities and events...
FYI: Most events are usually free to attend or take photo. But not always free to get autograph, or get photo with the person(s)
TIP: get their about an hour early to scope the area, get a good spot around the entrance or red carpet (especially if your short like me)....Also ask the police or security whats is going on...they usually co-operate....
TIP: if you are short like me and will have alot of heads in your way. Or in some cases like the tony Awards where the cops keep public across the street ( and you will have cars blocking your sight ) I strongly suggest a small portable, foldable foot stool or ladder. | click here for images of some samples alot of the pro's use them too!!
NOTE: Some events might require tickets such as the 92nd St Y, Paley Center, TheTimesCenter, etc
NOTE: Some events might give preferential treatment to the purchasers of the DVD, Books, etc for the person(s) at the event but still allow non-buyers seating (Barnes & Noble for example)
ALSO: Many have e-mailing lists to alert you of events so sign-up for them on their websites!!!
Feel free to email me at grlewycky yahoo.com with any feedback and websites that you use.....
Also many people ask me what camera I use....I use a Canon Powershot A 610 digital camera with 5.0 Megapixels...
Just recently I purchased another Canon with 20x zoom and the adjustable LCD. Its the Canon Powershot SX10IS model and its really good
the big perk that makes this camera extra special is when your fighting for a good picture against a crowd, group of photographers, and your height isnt on your side this camera lets you raise the camera over heads and obstacles to get a good photo using its 2-inch adjustable LCD screen flips out and can be rotated
