For those of you who don’t know I already have a web
site, mailing list, and yahoo group on Kristina along
with photo’s that I took of the cast along with B&B.
Together with English translations of the songs!
I was lucky to have known Jeff De Hart at the time who
told me about Kristina and I originally went to see
B&B, but the music and the singers took me by
surprise. 

I looking forward to hearing the English translations
to better follow and understand the musical but I hope
the “harmony” and “feelings” of the music isn’t
compromised for this translation. 

"If 'Kristina från Duvemåla' goes to Broadway, it will
happen no earlier than in the autumn of 2006," says
Görel Hanser of Briggen which produces Björn and
Benny's shows.

'Aftonbladet', the Swedish daily newspaper, talks of
the possibility of Peter Jöback reviving his role in
the Swedish cast of Kristina when the musical is
performed in English, in the US.

Already auditioning in New York since April 2005.
Later in autumn 2005 plan is to “test” the show in
minor New York theatre and Swedish areas of Minnesota.

We can share and gather info using the mailing list
more instantly than a web site. This was very useful
for the Mamma Mia Premiere gatherings in New York City
back in 2001.

Minnesota ??
============
This site (http://www.vocalessence.org/ )we need to
keep our eye on also for when Kristina will return to
Minnesota. I was at both October 1996 concerts in
Minnesota and it was the first time I met Benny &
Bjorn in person along with the cast. Helen's voice is
fantastic and angelic. "Du Maste Finnas”  is my
favorite – such a powerful emotional song that still
gives me goose bumps and I even cry hearing it
sometimes.

I was in contact with Plymouth Music Series, now under
the name VocalEssence. Currently they don’t have any
information about Kristina returning but I am on their
mailing list and e-mailing list. You can see their

I don’t think the fan club will be handling the
Minnesota event(s), they didn’t handle it last
time....Rather Jeff de Hart gave me their box office
in Minnesota to obtain tickets for both concerts.

Premiere on Broadway

Also for any of you in the U.S. who want to see
Kristina especially on Broadway that ARE NOT currently
members of ABBF I strongly suggest joining ASAP!!!!   
We might also be allocated tickets as we were with
Mamma Mia.
